Three ways to respond to attacks on Gaza

Posted on Mar 29, 2019

FOSNA – Israel is bombing Gaza this week. We bow our heads in sorrow at this violence, and we acknowledge that such an assault is not possible without our complicity. Israel cannot maintain its regime of apartheid and occupation without continued political and financial support from the United States. Here are three things you can do now to support Palestinian freedom and bring an end to this violence:

1. Christian Zionism is one of the strongest and fastest growing bases for Israel’s political support in the U.S. Confront Christian Zionism by showing strength in numbers. Become a member of FOSNA to show the world that Christians do not support Zionism.

2. Israel’s ongoing violence against Palestinians makes grassroots efforts like boycott, divestment, and sanctions campaigns all the more necessary and urgent.

3. Support the Great March of Return! The majority of Palestinians living in Gaza are refugees who were forced from their homes when Israel was established. For a year now, Palestinians in Gaza have been creatively and bravely protesting for their freedom by marching. In response, Israel has met them with live sniper-fire, killing around 200 and injuring tens of thousands of Palestinians.
