MILAN, Italy (CNS) -- Democracy will have a chance to grow in Iraq only if the international embargo against the country is lifted, said the Catholic vicar in the capital, Baghdad. "Eliminating the embargo is the only true hope for a rebirth of the people and a chance for the economy," Father Youssif Habbi, vicar of the Chaldean Patriarchate said.
