Dear Friends of Taybeh,

We sincerely appreciate all of our friends who keep us in their holy prayers as a Holy Land community and my family in particular. Thank you. We are grateful for your prayers. We have survived our very crazy annual event, the Taybeh Oktoberfest with thousands of people coming from all corners of the world and all over Israel/Palestine.

We continue to schedule this unique festival since we find it a form of peaceful resistance and non-violent action under the harsh conditions of military occupation.

It’s very sad that at the same time more than 395 people were injured in Gaza and two young Palestinians were tragically killed. Cultural resistance and persistence is the only response at the moment; all of the cultural organizations continue to host their artistic and musical events.

With greatest appreciation for your prayers, support and solidarity,
