Fr. Davide Meli defends Masters thesis in Sacred Theology at Pontifical Lateran University in Rome

ROME – On Thursday, October 11 , 2018, Fr. Davide Meli, a priest of the Latin Patriarchate defended his thesis for Licentiate in Sacred Theology at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. His presentation was on the “Ad Limina” Visits of three Latin Patriarchs in 1877, 1893 and 1913.

Fr. Meli was born in Rome, Italy on April 22, 1984. He studied at the Catholic University of America in Washington DC, graduating in 2006 with a degree in Architecture. He was ordained Deacon at the Redemptoris Mater Seminary in Galilee on November 8, 2013 and ordained Priest by Patriarch Fouad Twal on June 14, 2014. He served as Vicar at the Immaculate Conception Parish in Al Husson, Jordan before going to Rome in 2016 for his Licentiate studies.

Fr. Davide now serves in the Latin Patriarchate Seminary in Beit Jala.
