AMMAN – On Saturday, March 18, 2017, Our Lady of Peace Center honored the mothers of families with a program of games, shows and dance presentations prepared by the children and teams of the Center, in a festive family atmosphere.

Our Lady of Peace Center organized this gathering, which brought together families whose children benefit, from the services offered by the Center and its medical team, for some on a daily basis, free of charge.

Present for this celebration were Latin Patriarch Emeritus Fouad Twal, Bishop Emeritus Maroun Lahham, Bishop Emeritus Selim Sayegh, Center Director Father Shawki Baterian, and Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Sahem Madanat.

The medical teams briefly presented their activities and work to children (aged between six and fourteen) who then carried out carefully prepared choreographies with their educators before participating in games. A clown show was also organized for the occasion.

At the end of the day, gifts made by the children were given to the mothers of families as a token of their love and affection. Our Lady of Peace Center also organized a similar celebration for Mothers’ Day in its branch of Aqaba, which provides specialized care in education of children with mild and severe mental disabilities and physiotherapy.
